Some people on DA think that just because an artist may not be as popular, or even new that it's ok to go and leave terrible/mean/disheartening comments. Little do they know there are "certain" well known artists who sometimes pay a visit to their followers/friends pages and they WILL defend that person against unjust, or bullying comments. I hate to see people loose faith or hope in their art due to one angry and spiteful person.
That being said. Please don't let crappy comments bring you down, even if no one comes to defend you. Hold your chin up and keep feeling proud. No one can take away what you have. And with determination you will get past it.

This year really made me reconnect with what a saviour my art had been in my life, and this year especially. I really took for granted, lately, the gift of passion and being able to focus on something a little brighter than the clouds of reality. Truly, it's why I'm still alive today, it's remained a constant guiding star.

Flesh-Odium is no more! (Name Change)
After a long period of thought, I have decided to change my art alias/name. I started freelancing in 2012 and did so under the pseudonym Flesh-Odium, which was a name that I already had established years and years earlier when I first joined DeviantArt at the age of 15. At that age, I really had no idea what I was doing, or what my style would evolve into, or what a name really meant in the art world. But it wasn't very long after deciding to reenter the online art community in my 20s, that I quickly learned. My name didn't represent me and hadn't for many years. I created it at an extremely dark and horrible time for myself as a teen. Back when I thought horror content was at the core of who I was, and being edgy was somehow cool. But, thankfully, so much growth can happen in 17 years, and I want to embrace that growth, leave the past behind, truly just be me and let my art speak for itself rather than some cryptic online name that no longer serves or represents me. I will admit
Eclipse is /eh/
Like the title states, I find Eclipse to be... *shrug*. I dislike the forced change and really wish it wasn't happening, enough that I sent them feedback begging to at least add the toggle back. But seeing as this is what the site is at this time, I suppose I'll just learn to adapt and hold on hope they listen to the people who have been coming to DA for years. Change sucks ;-;
A letter to my OG followers (new year, new me)
It took a whole year to finally feel the effect of self-care and healing, but I feel like the old me is coming back. You know, the Fleshy you probably got to know and love and then wondered where the heckie she went, probably even before my homelessness event that occurred a little more than a year ago, which basically forced me to take a HUGE step back.
I have had many false starts like this, jumping to announce the small sliver of hope I felt which I knew would fade in a week. But this one is real, I made sure of it. It took me quite a few months to determine that, heck, nearly the whole year if I'm to be honest.

i hate it when ppl bully especially if its online cuz you dont kno who your dealing with and the one thing about bullys online is they are just hiding behind a screen and they could be anyone some one at your school or just some random person who doesnt like how good your art is because they are just not as good as you if ppl who get bullied keep that in mind then you got something to talk smack back at them
i've helped a few on some other sites when i when on that site but if you wanna help some one all you gotta do is watch out for one another even if you dont kno them in person thanks to all who help destroy bullying
